Leena Thakker celebrated her first year as the Musical Minis Oxford franchisee by running a ‘ Musical Minis Teddy Bear’s Picnic ‘ on Saturday 17th July 2010. The event was spectacular with over 60 children, all with their teddies. An hour of Musical Minis was followed by a picnic on the green, with a DJ, cake and various other stalls, bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modelling and many more activities for young and old. The event was a fundraising activity to raise money for Taylan’s Project under the umbrella of ‘Brain Tumour Research in children’ and Cancer Research UK. A total just over £600.00 was raised. Leena would like to thank everyone who attended the event or bought raffle tickets for 2 fantastic charities.
