About Musical Minis
Musical Minis is a fun time music group for babies and toddlers of ages ranging from as young as six months to preschool.
Each structured session introduces music and percussion to children in a relaxed group atmosphere. It concentrates on rhythm, song, sound and movement to encourage early musical expression and creates a world of music for children.
Fun
Children are amused by the cheerful songs and stories. They enjoy participating - discovering sounds, exploring instruments and mimicking actions.
Variety
Each 45 minute session contains music ranging from classical to modern, concentrating on rhythm, song, sound and movement and promoting early musical expression.
Learning
The action songs and nursery rhymes used by Musical Minis are excellent for language development and co-ordination. Repetition contributes to an early education in counting and in the recognition of the parts of the body.
Safety
Brightly coloured instruments are safe for children of all ages; whistles are sterilised after every use.
Atmosphere
Classes are limited to 15 children. This enhances enjoyment and helps to create a relaxed group atmosphere.
Friendship
An opportunity to meet new people and make friends. Learning to take turns and share, forms the basis of important social skills.
